Civil rights was just the beginning and lead to other groups to fight for equal rights you need to look at NOW (the women's struggle for equal rights as well as the march on Washington and the freedom summer as well as Montgomery bus boycott and freedom riders they are all related you just need to consider how and what they wanted to achieve

Social movement, is invidual, or groups of people moving toward a common goal. Little groups, not affecting whole populations Revoulutionary move, is when the whole population is on the move toward a common goal. To become a Rev. Movement, social movement comes first to start the domino affect, or affecting the entire population. Thats what happened during the rise of the 4rd Reich, COmmunist party, the rise of American Independence from Britain.
