Can a moderator that ISN'T tkhunny, rationalize the warning I got? http://puu.sh/b8OkF/6606702c2a.png He says "It appears to be well-explained. I counted about half as many violations as you reported. Don't do that. Seems pretty rational to me." What a joke. He's the moderator that warned me, why should he be able to close my question and close off any further discussion? All I did was report TWO separate instances of someone breaking the Code of Conduct, and I'm warned. THIS is why people are becoming too jaded to help and report.
O_O
This tells us a simple warning bothers you so much...why should it ? just ignore.
because it's constant harassment by tkhunny, I've been suspended over equally trivial things, and been unable to contest them. Moreover, ignoring doesn't make a PROBLEM go away. I've been suspended for getting too many warnings before. Why are you being so dismissive?
If you're talking about suspensions, all your suspensions were fair. (I checked the logs.) Are you seriously considering warning as a "problem"!? your life must be awesome to have no issues serious than getting warning on OS :P But I would say that if it was for me, i would have not warned you in this scenario, just pmed. But every mod handles situation differently.
Thank you. Many blessings.
"Report spam" is when someone reports repeatedly for non-violations OR reports a real violation several times. Sometimes it is real and sometimes it is due to the site being buggy. In both cases, it gets annoying to moderators to have their screen fill up with a bunch of reports that are duplicates or otherwise serve no purpose.
That's the thing. I wasn't spamming his/her/their screen @e.mccormick . I literally reported 2 instances of "spam/CoC violation" and got warned and it frustrated me. Maybe I just have it out for tk.
As I said, sometimes it is the site being buggy. I have had reports where a person did one and I got say 5.
