This is an Order of Operations problem. PEMDAS is an acronym that... oh good, you've heard of it! Yay! Ok so start with Parentheses (none), then Exponents (none), then Multiplication... We have the 5 * 6 at the end, so let's do that first, simplify, and rewrite the problem. 5* 6 = 30, so 8 - 4 /2 + 30

i just you the answer to the whole problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

Now, the division. 4/2 = 2 So 8 - 2 + 30 is where we are at. No I cannot just give you the answer to the problem, I give solutions. I walk people through the problem until we arrive at an answer together.

Just do 8 - 2 + 30 =))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it thanks :)
