OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

A point is a unit of length that can be used to measure the distance between two lines of text. Font sizes measure the distance between two lines of text. Font sizes are often stated in points. Capital letters measure two thirds of the stated point size, as shown in the diagram for a font size of 48 points. There are 72 points in 1 inch. What point size produces capital letters that are 1/2 in. tall?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well if 72 = 1 inch 36 = 1/2 inch a capital is 2/3 of the stated font 2/3 x 36 = thats the way it reads to me.
