Let's break it down. There are two words here -- COGNITIVE and NEUROSCIENCE. "Cognition" is all about our ability to think, remember things, solve problems, and make decisions. It's all about knowledge, and mental abilities. "Neuroscience" is brain science. Science that has to do with the brain. "Cognitive neuroscience" is the science of how our brains affect the way that we think, remember things, solve problems, and make decisions. You see, our brains need to work, whenever we are thinking, or solving problems. Cognitive neuroscience is all about learning HOW our brains work, and HOW our brains affect the way that we think and behave.
