Frank is in an airplane flying at 14,080 ft above sea level. He wants to land the airplane on a runway that is 22 ft below sea level. What was the total vertical distance between his current height and the runway?

OpenStudy (kj4uts):

If he is flying at 14,080 ft. above sea level and wants to land on a runway 22 ft. below sea level im thinking you would add 14,080 ft. + 22 ft. = 14,102 ft. which would be the total vertical distance that he is above the runway. This is my take on the question!

Thank you i will try this and see if it's right.

OpenStudy (kj4uts):
