I AM SO CONFUSED WHAT IS THIS!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you talking about the website or do you have a question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

define \(\large i^2 = -1\) and multiply as usual

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

for example : \[\large -2i\bullet(-2i) = 4i^2 = 4(-1) = -4 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@adjax culd you explain to me how and why you got that answer for 2

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

can u do the remaining ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

0.4i - i i(0.4 - 1) i(-0.6) -0.6i

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well D

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you can treat "i" as a symbol/variable and add/subtract/multiply like you do with a normal variable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so -0.6i @ganeshie8 is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.4i - i=0.6i

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

0.4i - i= -0.6i

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so this is for #2 right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so are thoe correct @ganeshie8
