Oaks and hickories, on the other hand, can tolerate a much wider range of temperatures and grow all the way from Canada south into Georgia and Florida. If a hillside in a state north of Pennsylvania has mostly oaks and hickories growing on it with very few sugar maples, what can you correctly conclude about the climate
