Restating the conditions of problem 1, the cost to buy t-shirts is $5.00 for the first 10 shirts, $4.00 for each additional shirt up to 50, and $3.00 for each shirt above 50. If you purchase 100 shirts, what is the average cost per shirt? Select one: a. $3.00 b. $3.10 c. $3.60 d. $4.00

OpenStudy (aaronq):

You would have to find the total cost and divide it by the amount of units purchased. 10 shirts at $5 = $50 40 shirts at $4 = 50 shirts at $3 = add these up and divide by 100

Okay so 3.60 thank you makes sense
