WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
You know,
it's sort of sad
how someone falls in love
while the other falls out of love.
You know,
it's sort of sad
how someone gives up everything they have
while the other gives up nothing.
You know,
it's sort of sad
how someone falls asleep thinking about who they love
while the person they're in love with finds somebody else.
You know,
it's sort of sad
how someone deals with heartbreak so bad, that they want to end their lives
while the other person doesn't give a crap.
You know,
it’s sort of sad
how someone thinks they've found the one
while the other person just thinks they're a fling.
You know,
it's sort of sad
how someone lies to be with the one they love
while the one they love is telling everyone.
You know,
it's sort of sad
how someone smiles through the pain
while the other smirks.
You know,
it's sort of sad
how I'm writing this poem
while he's off doing all the things I couldn't give him with someone else

I can never get my mind off him,
I wonder if he'd mind if I'd,
make him my own,
and never let him go,
hug him tight,
treat him right,
act all polite,
take him on a date,
make sure I'm never late,
kiss him on his lips,
talk about our kids,
Make him feel like a prince,
living in a castle,
hope that it's not too much hassle,
But I am so blessed,
hope I can be the best,
holding him tight,
treating him right, being very polite.

WITHOUT LOVE
Without love I lost the meaning of us.
I gave you my heart and you threw it away.
I knew then you were just a waste.
What was the meaning of trust? It wasn't love it was a lust.
Every time we met you look at me with disgust.
I feel like you kicked me as if I was dust.
You left me with brute force.
Losing you was such a pain.
I know I wasn't a saint but I learn from my mistakes.
Can I be forgiven I know I have a lot of sins.
I am broken, choking on my tears.
The miserable sound rings in my ears.
Why aren't you here? What did I do wrong? Why couldn't we get along?
Now you're long gone and I'm crying my eyes out.
I couldn't say what was on my mind. Now it's too late.
You aren't coming back my way
