find the slope between x = 1 and x = 2 so for the curve you need to find the y values, so substitute x = 1 and then x = 2 then slope is difference in y over difference in x for the table you already have the ordered pairs (1, 2) and (2, 0) so the slope is m = (2 - 0)/(1 - 2) hope it helps
