A purple haze clung to the ground outside, penetrated by the harsh white light of the stars. The gauzy curtains fluttered slightly, but there was no wind. The whole house seemed to clatter at its seams. Shivering. Shaking from something unseen, as if it knew what was coming-- what was going to happen.

It was almost midnight I was all alone at home. I heard some footstep just the other side of window I woke up suddenly my heartbeat quickened It started to rain and I moved to the corner of the room.
