Great question! Punctuation can definitely be tricky sometimes. It is customary for most mailing address abbreviations to use periods. This would include the many different ways of labeling roads when they are placed in abbreviated form. It is also standard for the abbreviations of social titles to be followed by a period if they precede the name of the individual who holds the title. I hope this helps, Seth http://speedproofing.wix.com/home
