Which are limiting nutrients for plant growth?

Nitrogen is actually essential for all living organism because proteins, urea, nitric acid, all are made up of it. Plants need Nitrogen for producing amino acids, so it's one of the nutrients that is limiting for plant growth. Without nitrogen, plants would look yellowish do to the lack of nitrogen they take. Plants usually obtain Nitrogen from water and soil.
