(Construction) (Solving inequalities) -draw out for me please- a contractor estimated that her expenses for a construction project would be between $700,000 and $750,000. She has already spent $496,000. how much more can she spend and remain within her estimate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract her expenses so far from the lowest and highest number in the budget and write it in terms of something<X<something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its $253.99

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x being the value she can still spend

OpenStudy (anonymous):

700000-496000=204000 750000-496000=254000 so you can represent it as 204000<=x<=254000 you want to include that x can equal both of those numbers because any of those values would help her remain within the budget....and so will the values in between those two numbers

Draw it out please? @nikato @bibby @Loser66 @Hero @dan815 @Compassionate @zepdrix
