Graph the equation. Compare the graph with the graph y=x. y=-x

OpenStudy (babalooo):

one is positive slope and the other is negative slope. they should be mirror image of each other.

But how do i graph those?? i don't have any numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have a graphing calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go to y= button and hit the negative button and then the button that has x,T weird o, and a n on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then hit graph or 2nd and then graph to get a set of numbers

OpenStudy (babalooo):

lol for a simple equation like this? you don't need graphing calc. just plug in values. if you plug in 0 for x what would you get for y? do the same for a couple x values, you'll get y values and that's your coordinattes. you won't be able to use graphing calc until grade 11 so.
