Ok so you would do 5x+1 + 5x +9= 180 since it is supplementary the total will equal 180 then once u solve that problem youll know the value of x so u put that number in the equation above instead of the x and you have ur answers

Supplementary means adds up to 180 degrees so since the two angle are supplementary they will add up to 180 degrees. So add on one side of ur equation add the two equations together and on the other side write equals 180. Now just simplify and solve
