What are three ratios that are equal to 4/8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you think of any yourself? One of them is 1/2. Just try to figure out values that would equal that ratio.

OpenStudy (lanhikari22):

any n/2n where n equals to any number. 1) n=5 --> 5/10 , 2) n=6 --> 6/12 , 3) n= 800 --> 800/1600

I think you're supposed to help them figure out the answer instead of just giving outright answers yourself, but I might be wrong. Ruth, maybe try coming up with some of your own to make sure you understand what you're answering.

OpenStudy (lanhikari22):

well you're right, i just gave him/her the ratio n/2n so that s/he can figure out the concept of ratios, also i've given him/her 3 examples too since s/he wanted that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I just figured she might just use the ones you said. Hopefully, she understands! I'm a little new here, so I'm not exactly sure how everything works :)
