100 Years War: the British King wanted to be the French king too. World War II: Hitler wanted to be ruler of all of Europe (and likely the world) Punic Wars: the Carthiginians wanted to conquer Rome and take its riches for itself. Eventually, the Romans conquered Carthage and took its riches for themselves. these are the only two that i know of
