With the logarithmic function y=log2 x, is there a vertical AND horizontal asymptote? I know that x=0 is an asymptote, but I've also noticed that the graph seems to line up with y=3.

Graph it, what do you see? If the graph gets very close to a certain line but doesn't go over it then that's an asympotote. You can use desmos.com to graph.
