ok:) Now we're not going to multiply but divide. Why divide? It's the opposite of multiplying. Correct? So now we divide by $\huge{-2}$ because we need the variable by itself:) So when we divide both sides by $\huge{-2}$ we get:
$\huge{b=3}$
$\huge\color{red}{- + - = +}$ 
Two negatives become a posittive:)
