why are people so skeptical when it comes to global warming ?

I would say one of the biggest reasons is that people are ignorant. There are many things that people do not try to believe such as when they argue about petty topics. Is this for an assignment or for just basic discussion?

Big companies who are polluting the water and air, deforestation; cutting down all of our trees which puts oxygen back into the air, poisoning the foods we eat. All of these big companies put out all this propaganda that global warming is just a myth, so some people buy into it.
