1. Cultures do not grow exponentially if conditions are not
optimal, say temperature too low
2. Cultures grow exponentially if conditions are constant,
whether optimal or not
3. Cultures grow exponentially if conditions are optimal

Hey @aaronq ! I think the answer is 2 - because for exponential growth it is ok even if conditions aren't good, as long as it is constant?
