The second one is correct because it uses the proper usage of 'travels' unlike the others. With A, it would be correct if you said 'spent'. With C, it would be correct if you said 'visited' and with D, it would be correct if you said 'likes'. With B, it is the only one that properly uses it's verb with the proper verb tense.
