OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Use matrices to determine the coordinates of the vertices of the reflected figure. Then graph the pre-image and the image on the same coordinate grid. Triangle RST with vertices R (-1, 6), S (8, 4), and T (3, 4) reflected over the line y=x. I found the matrices. [6 4 4 ] [-1 8 3] I'm just having trouble with the graphing.

OpenStudy (kainui):

Where's your trouble? What did you get for your transformation matrix?

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

I've wrote the matrix above, and my trouble is reflecting it and graphing.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

im suppose to graph it and end up with one of the following answers;

OpenStudy (kainui):

Well what would a reflection across the line y=x look like? Imagine a mirror there on that line.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

I got it now but just to make sure I got the third one. Is that correct?
