In Hypothesis Testing, if your p-value equals to the level of significance, do you reject H ?
This kind of depends. Some people reject or don't reject when the p-value is the same as the level of significance (\(\alpha)\) (although encountering this situation is quite rare.. you're more likely to find a p-value close to the significance level, rather than exactly the same). Regardless, technically the decision is up to you to reject or not. Something to check might be to see if your \(100\alpha\%\) confidence interval contains contains the hypothesized value of the parameter or not. If you are doing this in the context of a class, I suggest asking what your teacher says. Otherwise the decision is up to you what you consider your threshhold.
thanks for your explanation! :)
