Hi there @shadow141697 . I don’t think your problem here can be solved. In order to solve by grouping, you first need to factor out the GCF (which is 2). 2x^2 + 4x + 4 2(x^2 + 2x + 2) Now to group this trinomial, we have to find two numbers that multiply to 2 and add to 2. At first glance, you may think of the numbers 2 and 1. While they do multiply to 2, they add to 3. I’ve tried several other number combinations, even with negative numbers and I cannot find two that will work to solve your problem. Sorry! :) Let me know if you still don’t understand.
