How can I delete my OpenStudy account?
you can't you have to talk to a moderator
About what?
And how do I do that?
@Compassionate
can you help
Hello, You cannot delete an OpenStudy account. If you don't want the account any longer, you can request all your questions answered and asked be deleted. You can also remove your icon and biography to delete any traces. Thereafter, you can either change your email and password to something random and logout (you'll never be able to login again) or you can request we suspend your account for an indefinite amount of time.
Well, I don't want my account any longer at all. So can someone delete all of my stuff for me ?
You can delete all of your replies, and a moderator can delete all the questions you've asked.
If you simply do not want it, we can change your icon, delete your biography and suspend your account for an innumerable amount of time.
I just don't want my questions/answers to be on there. I just won't be using it anymore..
Then we can suspend your account, simple enough.
Okay. Thanks.

Just let me know like right before it happens!
There is no way to delete an account. Contacting a moderator does not matter. Contacting admins does not matter. They simply can not be deleted, period. Just click on settings, turn off all notifications, and stop using the account. It is that simple. As for deleting questions and answers, there really is no reason to do so. Also, nothing is ever deleted. All the questions users "delete" is still retained by the company. This is for legal reasons. For example: The company is able to track and turn over postings, messages, and so on if someone were to post content that was a copyright violation, cyber bullying, academic dishonesty, etc and it was investigated.
Okay. Thanks.
You cannot delete your account. YOu might be able to send a message to a moderator asking for them to. though im not sure if they can. Please close the question after you have given a medal and are not looking for any more answers
