so there was a time before Jesus was born. When he never came to earth that cross or bridge wasnt there. The only way people could get into heaven was by sacrificing animals. But they only went to a temporary heaven because they havent repented. God wanted a way for people to truly repent and be saved. So God sent his only son to earth to be born from the virgin Mary.

After Jesus was born he went around preaching and teaching. Later when he was around 36 he was crucified on the Cross. If you read the verse John 3:16 it says that God gave his only begotten son that whosoever believith in him shall not parish but have everlasting life. So Jesus took a beating and was lashed had skin ripped off him and wore a crown of thorns and had to carry his own cross up the hill. After he died that cross that is the bridge was formed now letting people into heaven.

So now that the bridge has been formed to get into heaven you no longer have to sacrifice animals. God paved an easy path so all we have to do is repent ask for forgiveness and get saved. Then when we die we will go to heaven. Since we live in the age of grace if you sacrificed animals now it will be a sin and you wont be able to get into heaven that way.

In the bible it said the king of heaven will be born as a baby on this earth. The Jews thought he meant an actual king with crown and robes. But when Jesus was sent he was born in a manger and was poor and worked as a carpenter. So the Jews will all go to hell because they don't believe in Jesus.

Leviticus chapter 16 tells of an ancient animal sacrifice ritual, today called Yom Kippur. The sacrifice was to absolve the Israelites from their sins in the previous year and relieve any consequence in the next. This is something Christian don't really understand, not only did Christ sacrifice eliminate the need for animal sacrifice but also if one actually follows his teaching the earthly consequences of one's sins would be greatly reduced. His admonishment that the "Meek, enduring injury with patients and without resentment, shall inherit the earth" is true, but you must realize patients implies the injury would eventually alleviated. This principle is in accordance with some Old Testament prophets who trusted God the father to alleviated misfortune with his mercy. Generally I don't talk about things I haven't experienced, such as an afterlife, but consider such things as speculative which is the reason there's such diverse opinions among religions. But I do have some opinions in how it should be on earth, which doesn't necessary mean the planet, as it is in heaven.
