In solving a trig equation, the primary goal is to isolate the trig function on one side of the equation. True or False? Its silly to ask this but that is what we are supposed to do right?

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to look for an angle, you may want to isolate the trigonometric expression and apply its inverse to it. If you are trying to look for something else, you may want to do something different.
