The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. Which of the following groups would have had the strongest reason to object to the ratification of this amendment? (1 point) Radical Republicans labor union organizers women's rights activists former slaves
By process of elimination, I would say the first one... why would former slaves be against this? statement has no bearing for labors and women
fyi - servitude words should lead you to thinking of slavery or some type of confinement
hint: this is the 15th amendment which was passed before the 19th amendment
i thought the frist one too but i wasnt shure what labor union orgnizers ment? can anyone explane who that would be
?????
Labor Union organizers are a group that fight for workers rights...in a simple term Labor union want equal payments for same work regardless of race or sex, they want better medical rates, better retirement plans..etc
