OpenStudy (shainabeans):

The equation the describes the motion of an object is x=1/2at^2+Vot+Xot, where x is the position of the object, a is the acceleration, t is the time, Vo is the initial speed, and Xo is the initial position. Show that the dimensions in the equation are consistent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As written I do not think it is dimensionally consistent - the last term Xot is incorrect, I believe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it must be \[x= 0.5 at ^2+ v_0 t+ x_0\]
