Assume Length is x. --- (1) "width of a rectangle is 3 less than twice its length" Width = 2 * x - 3 ---- (2) Perimeter of a rectangle = sum of all 4 sides = length + width + length + width = 2(length + width) = ? (put values for length from (1) and width from (2))
