Find the angle θ between the vectors u = 6i + 8j and v = -4j. (negative 4j) the possible answers are: Θ =2.50 degrees Θ can’t be found. Θ = 36.87 degrees Θ = 143.13 degrees I calculated 143 but I cant be sure because I may not be allowed to do what I did.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

What did you get before you rounded to 143?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

143.1301

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that was an estimate assuming that v was at an angle of 270 and u was at 53.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

however i cant actually calculate the angle because you cant divide my zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind i found a way to calculate it. u*v/||u||||v||

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yeah I was about to mention that but you beat me to it lol

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you would take the arccosine of that to get your angle
