How are Translations, Rotations, and Reflections represented as functions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need it typed out. Like when you are writing in a word document. Thanks. :)

Could you help. :)

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Ok suppose your function is f(x). For reflection it would be f(-x).

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

For translation f(x)+a or f(x+a) depending if it's horizontal or vertical.

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

For rotation it's the inverse of your function f^(-1)(x).

Thank you! @math&ing001
