Card stacking is seeking to manipulate audience perception of an issue by emphasizing one side and repressing another. Bandwagoning is advertising by saying that everybody is doing it, so you should to. Plain folks is when they appeal to the average people, as if "if these people are doing, so can I." Transfer is when they use something they know the audience responds well to, and transfers that to their product. (Ex: american flag).
