What is the main advantage of using e-mail to complain about a service or product

I have a few ideas... 1. E-mail is way more efficient. And by that, I mean that it will get to the company ten times faster than sending a hand written letter. 2. It doesn't cost anything to send an e-mail. If you wrote a letter or anything else, it would cost money, such as purchasing stamps. If you made a phone call to the company, that's money you're slowly building up on that call. 3. You won't feel pressured. When I call people, I tend to forget everything I wanted to say. With e-mail, you can take your time and address all the issues that you wanted say. 4. You will have a copy of the e-mail. Anything can go wrong with a call or a letter. A letter can get lost in the mail and you'll never know if they've received your complaints. Those are just a few I can think of. I didn't go into too much depth about each idea but I hope that helps some!
