I need assistance in learning Hebrew. Any advice?
I can give you the same advice that transcends all languages. Use it. Find a penpal that speaks the language and maintain conversations with them. Read classical books. Start with children's books as they're simple and have punctuation and niqqudim (the dots and dashes and whatnot). I have no specific books or sites to recommend because I learned it naturally through the immersion of growing up in an Israeli home.
Some other things to account for: a non-latin alphabet specific sounds like the ח which sounds like someone coughing/throwing up that's all I can think of
p.p.s look into flashcard software. it's my favorite way to stay on top of vocabulary
There are also a ton of places that aim to teach any language. For Hebrew, a quick search found: http://www.hebrewcollege.edu/hebrew-language http://www.ulpan.net/ http://www.101languages.net/hebrew/ http://www.jerusalemonline.com/learn-hebrew/ And those were just the first few results!
Hebrew school on line. Everyone I knew that took it used cards for study. Seminary students study it and may be helpful as tutors.
