My Pre-Calc homework saying that the tangent of 55 degrees is approximately 1.43, but when I put it in the calculator, it says the tangent is -45.18. How are they getting 1.43?

Did you check the mode of your calculator?

should be in radians, right?

Thank you! I didn't even know I was supposed to change it. It was in Radians, but I changed it to degree
