Find The difference quotient p(x+h)-p(x)/h, p(x)= 13 sqrt x?

myininaya (myininaya):

you mean (p(x+h)-p(x))/h Can you find p(x+h)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

need to find out what p(x+h)-p(x)/h= by rationalizing the numerator

myininaya (myininaya):

Ok so have you already found p(x+h) and I still think you mean (p(x+h)-p(x))/h because p(x+h)-p(x)/h isn't the different quotient but (p(x+h)-p(x))/h is the difference quotient

myininaya (myininaya):

To find p(x+h) you must use p(x)=13 sqrt(x)

myininaya (myininaya):

Just replace x's with (x+h)'s in the expression that is p(x)=13 sqrt(x) to find p(x+h)

yes i need to find the difference quotient|dw:1409464684334:dw|,then i get stuck not sure if doing right
