1) Find the answer to a – e for the following set of data. 101, 102, 100, 100, 110, 109, 109, 108, 109 a. Find the mean of the data. b. Find the mode of the data. c. Find the median of the data. d. Find the variance of the data. e. Find the standard deviation of the data.
a) mean is the same is average, where you add all the numbers which is called the sum, and divide that by the number of set of data which is basically sum/n b) mode is the number which is repeated over a few times c) median is the middle number of the data after you have arranged the numbers in increasing order d) variance is defined as the mean^2 - ((sum^2)/n) e) standard deviation is the square root of the variance Hope that helps :)
a) (101+ 102 +100+ 100+ 110 109+109+ 108+ 109)/9 can u solve this
yes @nirmalnema
ok thats the ans of a part
now the no which is repeated maximum no of times is the mode which is 109
I dont understand...@nirmalnema
now arrange the data in ascending order 100,100,101,102,108,109,109,109,110 no which is in the middle is median =108
109 is given 3 time in the set. all other are less then 3 times. so mode is 109
@nirmalnema okay
what is the ans of first part. ?
a) ? @nirmalnema
yaa
@nirmalnema 851.1 ?
nops thats not correct. try it once again.!!
