What does the y intercept of the graph represent? A) Rate of interest offered to Zen B) Final value of Zen's investment C) Total number of months for which Zen invested the money D) Amount of money Zen deposited in the savings account

I thought it was B but someone else said D so I don't know ://

Anybody that can help?

OpenStudy (imstuck):

It represents the amount of money he started with. If you notice, the y intercept is some number, but the x, which represents the time, at this point is 0. That means that at x = 0, which is the starting time for his deposit, he had y amount of money.

So it would be D :) Thank you so much, hun!!

You're welcome! TY for the medal!
