Here are a couple "pretty" miscellaneous codes: \rlap{your~~text~~here}{~your~~text~~here} is \(\rlap{your~~text~~here}{~your~~text~~here}\) For color, I'd suggest using hex color codes. For example: \color{#660066}{Your~text~here} would look like \(\color{#660066}{Your~text~here}\)
