Can someone please help me with 10 health questions? Please and Thank you!
Which influence is an external influence? heredity experiences preferences lifestyle Which influence is an internal influence? cultural background likelihood of getting certain diseases health knowledge media messages What's the difference between External and Internal Influence?
Well, know what an external influence is? Or internal?
No. I can't really remember.
In the most general sense, external is outside and internal is inside.
I know what that means, but when you use it with the word influence what would it mean?
@Whitemonsterbunny17
For the second one I THINK it's C.
Influencees that come from outside you or inside you.
You know what an influence is, right?
OK. I think I get that what doe hereditary mean?
Hereditary is genetics, from your parents.
So that would be internal? Would the answer be experiences?
Oh, and internal in this case also includes your choices.
Yah, experiences happen to you. You can choose to go to the mall, but you generally don't choose to slip while at the mall, fall, and hurt yourself. So the experience of getting hurt is not internal.
2nd one is C?
I think that is the best choice.
When making good health decisions, what should you do after you list your options? Identify the consequences of each option. Develop a strategy to execute the options. List the necessary skills to execute the options. Ask for feedback on the options.
Hmmm... that sounds like some process your book wants you to follow.
Can you help me put them in order then?
@e.mccormick @Whitemonsterbunny17
Are you able to look back through your textbook?
I don't have a text book. My classes are all online.
Well, somewhere on their site or on a linked reference site theyre should be a list.
Okay, well they still provide you with material to read even if it is online. Just try to look through it again and it should have them listed in correct order. (:
I think it's C.
@e.mccormick @Whitemonsterbunny17
Okay, let's take a closer look. So, you've made a list of your options, what would you think is best to do next? Would identifying the consequences of each be the next best thing?
Yes?
Are there any better options, though?
I don' think so.
Well, in my opinion, the correct answer is one of the first two choices.
Really, ponder over which would be the best thing to do after you make the list. What I think is, if you can't find a strategy to execute the options, you don't need to identify the consequences. So I think finding a strategy to execute them should come before that. Do you agree?
