Well, technically this isn't Algebra, since it would have to have a variable included to be Algebraic. And secondly you can use something called PEMDAS to remember how to always do these!! PEMDAS is an acronym standing for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction and the order in which you approach these operations in problems like these. It's called the 'Order of Operations' =))
