A block of iron has dimensions of 2.3 m x 3.7 m x 2.4 cm. How much does the iron block weigh in kg given that the density of iron is 7.87 g/cm3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A block of iron cannot 'weigh' anything in kg - weight is a force, kg is a unit of mass. You probably want to know, what is the mass of the iron block in kg. You'll be glad that I reminded you of the distinction if you have to solve any problems involving gravity : )
