OpenStudy (acxbox22):

there 159 birds on a tree. a hunter comes a long and shoots 8 birds . how many are left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unless this is a trick question, you do 159 minus 8, which gives you 151 birds left in the tree.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good job

OpenStudy (anonymous):

159-8=151 so 151 birds will be left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I feel like this is a trick question but if not 151 birds are left.

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

if it tell you it is...then how many birds left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean by "if it tell you it is" that isn't a correct sentence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o because all the birds would fly away.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

This is an old trick question. No birds are left bec with he noise they all fly away.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

none left - the rest have flown away!!!

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

i wanted to see if it would make a difference if i altered the numbers..lol

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

mathematically speaking there are zero birds left.....ugh doesn't matter

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

This is not a math question though, or not as much... is it ?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

Does Britain have a 4th of July?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, and they celebrate it by crying.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

everywhere has a 4th of july, hence the fact that there will always be a fourth day in the seventh month

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, so if by "4th of July," they mean "Independence Day," they should just use "Independence Day" instead, to avoid confusion Wording can be confused sometime :P
