write and solve a real-world problem in which a rate is converted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have been doing this in a lot of your previous questions, for example. I have $3 in American dollars, however I want to convert it to Euros. I find that to convert itm the Euros are in 0.7 currency amounts. (or whatever) So to find it I must convert from $3 to 0.7. I will multiply 3 * 0.7. And then you have that converted. For you, you can use an example of distance.
