Percentage can also be written as how many parts per whole. So, you can rewrite a percentage problem like this: \[\frac{150}{2000} = \frac{x}{100}\] 150 is part of the whole, which is 2000. We can equate that to a fraction with 100 parts, which is 100%
Another way to look at it is just to do the parts divided by the whole: 150/2000 And multiply by 100%
