@Dscdago Explain how carbon is cycled between the atmosphere and hydrosphere. Use specific examples.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one is tricky. Carbon can be dissolved, by rain or soil, and carried into the sea. Here organisms like plants will acquire the carbon through photosynthesis. The plants then will give off oxygen and place them in the water. Animals will give off carbon through respiration. The carbon that is at the surface of the water, with the help of evaporation, will reach the atmosphere.
